Job Description:

A company is looking for a Referral Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:

Process over 50 referrals daily for completeness and correct routing
Work incoming and outgoing referral queues in Epic and schedule patient appointments
Obtain and verify insurance authorizations while maintaining communication with assigned practices

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary training or college preferred
Minimum 1 year of customer service and scheduling experience
6 months of Epic EMR experience preferred
Working knowledge of referrals and InBasket
Medical terminology knowledge is a must
