CAPS is your 503B solution. Position Summary:This position is
responsible for routine CAPS' raw material and finished product
testing and other routine functions as required by CAPS. The
associate prepares test samples and performs tests according to
standard operating procedures, USP, EP, or FDA guidelines.
Responsibilities: Essential DutiesPerform routine analysis on raw
material, finished product, and stability samples.Perform wet
chemistry testing using various instruments such as polarimeter,
UV-VIS spectrophotometer, melting point apparatus, pH meter,
conductivity meter, oven, vacuum oven, refractometer,
potentiograph, Karl Fischer, Osmometer, and analytical
balance.Perform quantitative analysis using ICP-OES system with ICP
Expert software as data acquisition program.Perform HPLC assay on
finished products, raw materials, stability and investigation
samples according to established specifications and
procedures.Prepare standards and reagents according to established
procedures and specifications.Record data in controlled notebooks,
LIMS, and validated spreadsheet accurately and thoroughly.Adhere to
all safety, laboratory, and CAPS' policies.Receive and log in
samples in a controlled notebooks and LIMS.Follow cGMP and CAPS'
SOP requirements in all appropriate functions and notify supervisor
of any observed issues with the laboratory and OOS testing
results.Keep records of all consumables and reagents used in the
lab, and ensure that required supplies are within expiration date
and in stock for testing.Answer phone calls and emails from
pharmacies regarding test status.Check LIMS database on a daily
basis for samples, pending release, and send out the complete
reports to the pharmacies in a timely manner.Coordinate with the
chemist to purchase lab reagents, supplies, and instrument
consumables. Expertise: Knowledge & SkillsKnowledge of good
analytical and laboratory techniques, cGMP's, GLP's, SOP's, USP and
FDA requirements.Good analytical writing, interpersonal, and
organizational skills.Ability to meet deadlines.Must be able to
work independently.Effective communication skills.Must be detail
oriented and have multi-tasking capabilities with ability to
prioritize. Expertise: Qualifications -
Experience/Training/Education/EtcRequired:B.S. degree in
Chemistry.Minimum 2-3 years of experience.Hands-on experience with
basic chemistry laboratory equipment: pH meters, fume hoods,
analytical balances, etc.Hands-on experience utilizing basic
chemistry techniques: titrations, dilutions, pipetting,
etc.Knowledge of cGMP, cGLP, USP, and LIMS.Valid drivers license
requiredUp to 25% travel required Desired:Experience in ICP-OES and
HPLCKnowledge in Excel & PowerPointWhile performing the duties of

hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or
feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally
