missions? We are looking for a dynamic Mission System Architect to
join our client's Mission Solutions department. In this exciting
position, you will have the opportunity to develop cutting-edge
solutions, products, and technologies that will meet both current
and future governmental needs. Your expertise will be crucial in
creating new mission solutions and exploring the potential of
existing and upcoming on-orbit capabilities.As a Mission System
Architect, you will collaborate closely with the Space Systems and
Software departments to drive innovation. If you're a

adaptability, and a passion for tackling complex challenges with
first-principles methodologies, we want to hear from you!Key
Responsibilities:
- Innovate & Lead:Develop integrated space and ground solution
concepts, leveraging current and emerging technologies to support
Government-directed missions.
- Analyze & Design:Conduct mission systems engineering,
performance analysis, and use case evaluations for conceptual
designs and architectural solutions for existing and potential
customers.
- Strategize & Align:Contribute to the technical portfolio
development across the company, ensuring harmony between strategy,
future mission requirements, and commercial objectives.
- Build & Guide:Assist the Director of Mission Architecture in
establishing a robust Modeling and Simulation capability to guide
the architecture, development, and evolution of space-based
systems.
- Collaborate & Contribute:Support our client's Government
Programs capture efforts as a key technical contributor, including
authoring and reviewing formal proposals and responses.
- Explore & Connect:Travel approximately 15%, visiting our
client's facilities in California, Washington D.C., and partner and
customer sites.Requirements:Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in systems architecture design for
satellite or aerospace systems.
- A technical degree in engineering, computer science, or a
related field.
- Strong knowledge of system architecture frameworks and
methodologies.
- Proven track record in leading architecture development for
complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a
focus on critical thinking and innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical
concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment while
managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance.Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE)
practices and tools.
- Experience with satellite subsystems, including payload,
propulsion, power, and communications.
- Experience in space system design or operations within the U.S.
Government or commercial space sectors.
- Understanding of software architecture principles and
development processes.
- INCOSE certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience with system simulation and modeling tools.Why Join
