Location: Remote Role Type: Contract About Our Client Our client is

the industry's most complex challenges. Job Description We are
seeking a Data Scientist with experience delivering end-to-end data
science solutions. This individual will join a dynamic "Delivery"
team in the Data Science & Artificial Intelligence Department. The
team works cross-functionally across various high-priority business
areas to uncover insights from large, disparate datasets and guide
data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will develop
production-quality algorithms, design predictive models, and
collaborate closely with business stakeholders and domain experts
to validate solutions and communicate findings. This is a unique
opportunity to shape the future of the electric grid by applying
machine learning to critical projects involving energy consumption,
electric vehicle adoption, and more. Duties and Responsibilities
•Design and develop production-level algorithms in Python for
customer energy behavior analysis. •Create spatio-temporal models
to forecast electric vehicle adoption. •Conduct exploratory data
analysis, root cause investigation, and error diagnostics.
•Validate machine learning models against technical and business
criteria. •Translate business needs into structured analytics
problems. •Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Power
Distribution, Grid Planning, and Clean Energy. •Present technical
results and business implications to stakeholders and leadership.
Required Experience/Skills •Ph.D. in Engineering, Computer Science,
Statistics, Applied Sciences, or a related field. •Experience with
spatio-temporal statistics and large time series datasets. •Strong
programming proficiency in Python and/or R. •Demonstrated ability
to build and validate machine learning models. •Strong
understanding of applied statistics, probability, and data science
practices. •2 years of experience in scientific software
development at scale. Nice-to-Haves •Experience with cloud
platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). •Industry experience in utilities, EV
infrastructure, DERs, or related analytics fields. •Strong
communication and problem-solving skills. •Background in converting
business requirements into technical implementation plans.
Education Ph.D. in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics,
Econometrics, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar
