healthcare and insurance landscape. About the Role We are looking
for full-time clinical therapists who want to build a new way of
delivering high-quality, evidence-based mental health care to
children 0-17. We hire mental health providers who are excited to
work at an early-stage startup and impact the accessibility of
exceptional behavioral health for children and families.
Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, evidence-based tele-therapy
via the Little Otter platform to children ages 0-17 years old,
parents, and families Conduct evidence-based interventions for
children and families including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies,
Exposure Therapy for Anxiety, Parent Management Training (PMT),
Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Child and Family
Psychotherapy (CPP), etc. Complete clinical documentation using the
Little Otter platform for each patient including intake notes,
progress notes, treatment plans Participate in an optional weekly
case review and clinical team meeting About You: Masters level
therapists independently licensed in California, ie. Licensed
Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social
Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed
Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC) Clinical experience
providing psychotherapy to children and families. Demonstrated
experience in treating common mental health disorders in children
through evidence-based practices Comfortable with technology and
interested in incorporating technology solutions into clinical
care. Passionate about providing mental health care services to
children and families and excited to work at an early-stage startup
to impact the way we provide these exceptional virtual services!
Schedule : Flexible schedule built to be mutually beneficial for
you and our families 80% of clinical time will be scheduled between
3-8pm PST or on the weekend to accommodate children' s schedules
Compensation: This role is classified under Zone 1 compensation ,
based on the therapist's primary work location. Full-Time 32 hours
per week: $70,000 annual base salary (approximately 20 clients/
week) Full-Time 40 hours per week: $85,000 annual base salary
(approximately 25 clients/ week) Additional Income &
Clinician-Centered Pay: Our philosophy is that clinicians should
have control over their time, energy, and income, without being
pushed into unsustainable workloads. Therapists have the
opportunity to take on additional client sessions beyond the
32-hour baseline schedule. Completed sessions beyond the baseline
are compensated at $80 per completed session. Additional sessions
are optional and availability may vary based on client demand and
scheduling needs. 21 sessions / week = $73,904 24 sessions / week =
$84,704 27 sessions / week = $95,504 30 sessions / week = $106,304
How Geographic Pay Zones Work: To support pay transparency and
consistency, we use geographic pay zones based on a therapist's
primary work location. Each pay zone has a defined base salary for
either a 32-hour or 40-hour work week, as well as a corresponding
per-session rate for optional sessions beyond the baseline
schedule. Pay zones are applied consistently across the
organization and are confirmed prior to extending an offer. Total
