Labor and Delivery RN - Per Diem - Nights We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join a dedicated maternal care team in California. This role is ideal for a clinician confident in managing the full scope of childbirth—from labor through delivery and immediate postpartum care—while ensuring a safe and supportive environment for both mother and baby. Key Responsibilities: -Provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery -Monitor fetal heart tones, uterine activity, and maternal vital signs -Administer medications and IV fluids, including oxytocin and epidural support -Support vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including emergency situations -Educate patients and families on the birthing process and postpartum care -Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and neonatal staff -Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital standards -Uphold safety and infection prevention protocols throughout care At Sable Corporation, we connect RNs, CNAs, and allied health professionals with contract and per diem opportunities at hospitals across California.
