Knott's is looking for talented individuals with knowledgeable hands-on theatrical techniques and comprehensive skills in Scenic Painting to join our Production Paint Team.Working with us is an opportunity that can pay off for years to come - with skills, knowledge, experiences and friends that can last a lifetime! -
Responsibilities:Paint, clean, maintain and repair temporary and permanent stages and theatrical elements for in park shows, events, and attractions. -Assist in painting, pouncing, tracing and preparing various set pieces, scenic flats, drops and 2D cut-outs according to design drawings and artistic renderings. -Strike and properly store all show elements. - -
Qualifications:Knowledge of general paint technique i.e.: scumbles, wood grains and other faux finishes. -Knowledge of water-base and other painting mediums and brushes/tools. -Ability to recreate, in a large scale, from a paint elevation or rendering. -Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs. -Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law. -
