This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in tax preparation and proficiency in Ultra Tax software. Responsibilities: • Prepare and file accurate tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities in compliance with federal and state regulations. • Utilize Ultra Tax software to efficiently manage tax preparation processes and ensure data accuracy. • Review financial records, income statements, and other relevant documents to calculate tax liabilities. • Identify potential deductions and credits to maximize tax savings for clients. • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide informed advice and services. • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and address any questions or concerns. • Conduct thorough audits of tax returns to ensure compliance and accuracy. • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards. • Provide recommendations for tax strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals.• Minimum of 4 years of experience in tax preparation, with a focus on accurate and efficient filing. • Proficiency in Ultra Tax software to handle complex tax scenarios. • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and compliance requirements. • Excellent analytical skills to identify deductions, credits, and other tax-saving opportunities. • Effective communication skills to interact with clients and address their concerns. • High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records and tax filings. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
