Job Description:
A company is looking for an Assistant Vice President, Financial
Controls.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the annual ICFR Program risk assessment and scoping process,
monitoring changes and reporting control deficiencies
Partner with the business to remediate significant deficiencies and
support external auditors in public company readiness
assessments
Develop ICFR Program communications for stakeholders and assist in
implementing internal controls testing functions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting
CPA, Chartered Accountant or equivalent
Six (6) or more years of experience in the Life & Annuities
industry, focusing on public companies
Strong understanding of US GAAP and US Statutory Accounting
Principles
Ability to design and present information effectively to senior
management and auditors
